ROWIAL I.m.o. the most accomplished work of October Equus so far; perhaps of all albums with Ángel Ontalva as "main man". Conclusive (avant-) compositions, fine sound, colorful instrumentation (e.g. Bassoon - close to Lindsay Cooper?). Very good idea to replace the drummer! For me there is an important division of R.I.O. which I call ’Henry's Cows- & Bears-Art". ’Presagios’ is a very fine addition to that.

Sven B. Schreiber It's amazing how many copies this album sold in just three days after its release, because the music of "October Equus" is not a kind of particularly popular music. The sublime eleven tracks written by the band's experienced composers Víctor Rodríguez and Ángel Ontalva constitute edgy avantgarde chamber music with lots of dissonances and jaw-dropping time signatures... but anyway, it seems they have found themselves a significant loyal following - a nice fact that makes me happy. Favorite track: Presagio.
